Countdown to brexit....

On 29th March 2017, the letter notifying Britain’s intention to withdraw from the European Union was delivered to European Council President Donald Tusk, and Theresa May formally announced in the House of Commons that the Brexit process has begun. It is anticipated that Britain will officially exit following two years of negotiations by March 29th 2019. The shaping of this country’s future will take many more years after that. There may be uncertainty along the way, but this is a process, not an event. We at the Chamber will continue to update this site and provide an impartial and factual narrative throughout this historic transition, but for now, it is business as usual.
